We have an exciting opportunity with one of our major, law firm clients. This law firm has 800+ attorneys in multiple states and due to growth in the Milwaukee office, they are looking for a smart, talented Paralegal that will spend 50% of their time supporting attorneys and 50% training and mentoring new Paralegals. It is a chance for someone that thrives on variety and constant learning to produce high quality work product and help new members of the Paralegal team.
Gather chronologies of facts and key documents, including medical records
Contact outside sources to obtain pertinent information to review and analyze
Prepare summary deposition transcripts
Research and retrieve information from court databases and online sources
Assist in document productions by opposing parties
Conduct investigative research on parties involved
Draft subpoenas, notices of deposition discovery requests
Train new Paralegals on all of the above
This position requires:
Bachelor's Degree and Paralegal Certificate or coursework, strong computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite, keen eye for detail and finely tuned organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to multitask and prioritize and the ability and desire to train and mentor others.
