International manufacturing company is currently searching to add an extremely talented Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to their team.  

Newly created position that is being added to their robust HR department!

Our client is searching for someone who is a very high achiever, has a strong sense of business acumen, solid decision-making skills, and the ability to professionally resolve complex issues.  This position will report to VP of Human Resources and work hand in hand in hand with Business Unit leaders.

This role offers a hybrid model and employees work from home on Friday’s!

The HR Business Partner provides forward-looking, human resource counsel to Business Unit leaders, in accordance with their business and workforce priorities.

  • Provides strategic counsel to Business Unit leadership in the areas of employment practices, associate relations, interpretation of HR policy, and compliance, workforce planning and development, performance, rewards and recognition, etc.
  • Consults with business unit leaders to diagnose and analyze current and future needs, human resource challenges and priorities, and identifying and advising on appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborates with executives and leadership teams in the use of succession management tools and processes. Activities may include coaching, participating in sessions and providing feedback.
  • Understands key business issues and their connectivity to broader human capital implications, initiatives and activities.
  • Keeps current on industry and regulatory activities that could impact associate relations activities, compensation and benefit programs, workforce planning, etc.
  • Assists/counsels business leaders in the resolution of large scale associate issues by conducting preliminary interviews and documenting findings/recommendations relating to associate grievances.
  • Develops specific action plans, with business leadership, to address their particular human resources/employee relations needs.
  • Collaborates with the Talent and Development group to identify solutions and tools to best support business needs/issues.
  • Develops and delivers presentations to executives and others, as required, on general HR and employee relations strategies, programs, practices and issues

Qualifications -

  • Bachelor's Degree required, HR certifications strongly desired, with 5+ years Human Resources Business Partner experience.
  • Must thrive on working within the Employee Relations arena and have a very strong understanding of state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Able to adapt to different Business Unit styles and processes, possess a strategic mindset, and have the ability to stay professional under stressful situations.
  • Astute, professional, the confidence to interact with all levels of the organization and possess exemplary communication skills.
