Our client, a premier Milwaukee based professional services organization is currently recruiting for an experienced Accountant to join their team. This person will have the ability to work very independently and report to an executive team that is very collaborative, approachable and not micro-managers!
This position will report to the Partners and be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the day-to-day financial operations including, prepare bi-monthly guaranteed payments to partners, journal entries, general ledger, budgeting, month and year end reporting, will work with outside accounting firm on all tax related issues and many special projects.
Daily duties will include -
- Compile and analyze financial information and prepare entries to accounts.
- General ledger account reconciliation, preparation of balance sheets, journal entries, oversee accounts payable and receivable, cash management and expense reimbursements.
- Prepare monthly/yearly financial statements, accrual reports, and cash flow analysis.
- Assist with tax preparation, filing and reporting.
- Implement and oversee general accounting systems.
- Monitor and maintain accounting compliance within company guidelines.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with 5-10 years solid accounting experience required. Outstanding communication skills, high level of professionalism, strong problem-solving skills and technically savvy are a must. CPA designation a definite plus! Must have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, excellent written and oral communication skills. Interpersonal skills are essential for success as well as a sense of humor and flexibility.
Salary range dependent on experience with extremely generous year-end bonus.
